All work at Real Insurance Solutions Consulting, LLC ("R.I.S.C.") is done via a written contract to set expectations for cost and outcomes.  Contracts are between R.I.S.C. and you or your organization.

Work is done on a time-and-material basis. We agree on either an hourly rate or a set cost.  As well, you can hire me on a retainer basis with a set fee over a period of time. If I incur needed costs for your assignment, I will invoice you for the agreed upon expenses such as travel or the cost of a dataset, rate filing or other necessary expense.

Finally, not every assignment need be charged on the same basis nor the same amount or rate. I will consider pro bono, or work for the public good, and I will consider the ability of the entity or person to pay.

If you do not have a sense of hourly rates or the cost of engaging me, the answer is usually as easy as an email or conversation. If agreeable, it might take more than a conversation to investigate whether R.I.S.C. will be of value to you, I am happy to spend an hour or two in investigation. While not required, I maintain a list of charities to which I would refer you to make a small donation to "pay back" for a needed, short pre-engagement investigation.

Real Insurance Solutions Consulting, LLC maintains consultant's Errors & Omissions coverage. Certificates of insurance are provided. Insurer is well-known with rating of "A+" by A.M. Best & Company.
