I Never Had a Small Job I Didn't Learn Something From …

  • Paper Route. Receivables must be managed...in apartments especially!
  • Rent-a-Youth. Even great ideas can't ignore reasonable regulations
  • Lawn Service. Cost of goods sold is $0 (if you use your dad's lawn mower)
  • Snow Blowing. See "Lawn Service"
  • Roto-Tilling. See "Snow Blowing" and those grocery store bulletin boards work!
  • Mall Clothing Store. Even if you don't like the clothes much, Sundays pay time and half
  • Paper Recycling. Paper-baler machines are deafening when aluminum prices rise over a penny a can
  • Janitor. Dentist offices have scary garbage
  • Bike Repair. They put Swiss-threaded bottom-brackets on French road bikes
  • Gymnastic Instructor. Teaching something means you know it for first time
  • Disco Door Checker. Expect the unexpected, your life might depend on it
  • Convenience Store. A driver's license is poor collateral for gas loan
